Javascript Fundamentals (CD)

This VTC Training CD (approx. 4 hours) can be used under Windows or on the Macintosh. JavaScript can be thought of as an extension to HTML; it provides facilities for pop-up windows, manipulating images, inserting digital clocks and counters etc.

A general introduction (Java vs. JavaScript, JavaScript as a language, programming concepts, advantages, what you need), JavaScript basics ("script" tag, Document.write, HTML), Alert, Confirms and Prompts, Variables, Functions, Troubleshooting, onLoad/onClick Events, Forms including Checkboxes and Radio Buttons, JavaScript Goodies, Browser Detection/Redirection, Rollovers.

It is necessary to have a reasonably modern web browser and QuickTime 3 or higher installed (if necessary the latter can be installed from the CD). A sound card is also necessary.
