Description

Macromedia Dreamweaver is a powerful web creation tool that allows non-technical people to produce professional websites. This course provides a practical introduction for those that wish to use Dreamweaver to create web-pages and manage websites. It focuses on building a small website.

Prerequisites

No knowledge of HTML is required but it would be advantageous.

  • Getting started with the Dreamweaver workspace and panels
  • Defining a site to hold your local pages
  • Creating/editing a web page
  • Formatting text - font, colour, size
  • Using images - including hotspots and roll-overs
  • Working with hyperlinks
  • Creating/editing tables - editing cell properties within tables
  • Creating/using templates
  • Publishing your site
