PowerPoint: Further Use

Prerequisites

This workshop will cover some of the more advanced features of PowerPoint with plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The workshop is largely driven by audience questions.

A working knowledge of the basic features of PowerPoint will be assumed.

• The drawing toolbar
• Animations
• Importation and linking to external information
• Action buttons
• Production of web pages for a PowerPoint presentation
• Any other features or techniques of interest to those attending

Presentations, demonstrations and practicals

• Practical work will be done using PowerPoint 2007 on PCs under Windows XP.
• There is a separate course on animation techniques, as well as self-taught courses.
• PowerPoint courses are also run by the Staff Development Office for departmental support staff.

One morning or afternoon session.
